The Retirees

Instructions
In the table below, on the left side are five retired people, and on the right side are descriptions of what they did in their jobs. Match each person with the correct description.

Click on the person		Then click on the description.
Bill Watson Former police officer		I used to read a book to the children every day in my class. The children would gather on the carpet in the room, and I would read a story to them. They loved it.
Helen Garamond Former teacher		We used to have meetings in the morning, and then I would go out and walk the streets in the neighborhood to keep them safe. If I saw someone who was causing trouble, I'd go talk to them. I didn't have to use my gun too often.
Mary Ramon Former reporter		I used to type letters and reports for my boss and do the filing in the office. I would schedule meetings if we needed them. I would also answer the phone and greet people in the reception area. Sometimes the office got pretty busy.
Gerald Richardson Former farmer		I used to interview famous people and go out in the community to cover breaking news stories. I would then type up my articles and turn them in to the editor.
Rebecca Tanner Former secretary		I used to plant the seeds in the spring and harvest during the summer. I would work from early in the morning until late at night during certain seasons. It was hard work, but I liked it.
