Subject Pronouns in English

A pronoun is a word that replaces a noun. Subject pronouns are words that replace the subject of the sentence, that is, the person or thing that performs the action of the verb. For example, instead of saying "Sara is a student," we can replace the name Sara with she and say "She is a student."
