FRAN - Also, the stove doesn't work. I've been in this apartment for a week now and I still can't cook. When are you going to buy a new stove?
MR. EVANS - I will as soon as I get a chance. I've been so busy lately.
FRAN - What about the kitchen light?
MR. EVANS - It's not working?
FRAN - No. I told you about it. When can you fix it?
MR. EVANS - I have some other things to do today but I'll fix it soon. Oh, by the way, when are you going to pay the rent?
FRAN - I'll do it as soon as I get a chance. You know I've been very busy lately. I don't know when I'll have time to bring you the check.
